Need a digital file of your art but you don’t necessarily intend on making genuine Giclées? Then this could be the choice for you. By utilizing instant capture technology, we are able to provide great quality at an economical price. Perfect when your output requirements are modest. We recommend Utility Art Scans for – publishing to the web (website and email for example), submissions to competitions (include the requirements and we will generate exactly what you need), postcards for gallery show openings, brochure and magazine publication, or simply as a digital file for your records. Available for originals up to 30x40 inches.

While Giclées can indeed be made from these scans, the final print size is limited to an output size of 70MB - That's about 13x20 @ 300dpi or 22x33 @ 180dpi. And (we say very delicately in a whisper) ...don’t expect quite the superlative quality of our Premium Art Scans, but we do our best.

OK, here you are. You’ve honed your skills and developed your technique. Your craft has now enabled you create and create you did. You’re thinking, “This is good.” Maybe you’re even thinking more than that, “This is really good! It’s time to get this ‘Out there’.” At CPL we’ve done something very similar, we worked hard until we could say to each other, “We got this.” We do not hesitate to say, and you can quote us on this, “You will not get a better scan of your art work anywhere else in the world - period.” Argh!!!

Giclée Proof Print • $15 • Made on your choice of media with an image of approximately ten inches (long dimension). This allows you to see exactly how your art will reproduce. We highly recommend this option as it is only available when we make your scan.
Art that contains 3D elements such as beads, beans, shells, feathers, twigs, nuts, and bolts, and the like, are subject to an additional set-up fee of $25.
If your work includes metallic paint, glass, mirrors, and you want that to be apparent, or not, no problem. But naturally any of these will entail an additional charge. While it is difficult to make a definitive quote without your work in our hands, we can give you a preliminary estimate - contact us and tell us about your piece.
