I began working with CPL in 2004, after contacting Craig Blacklock, whose giclée prints I had first seen at Waters of Superior. After reviewing my work, he put me in touch with Jeff Frey and CPL. My first giclées were done from a series of of floral paintings I completed in 2004, and the reaction from my collectors was very positive. The initial paintings were done from oil on panels, and CPL’s work is extremely accurate in portraying my work—notably the fact that the original oil paintings, when reproduced on archival paper—open the door to portray the final product in a “softer” version of the original, thus expressing the oil in a  more pastel tone, giving it another timeless quality. CPL's staff, are extremely respectful of my traditional values, truly good humored and 100% professional. Through the process of creating the giclée prints, the detail and color are not lost, and CPL stays the course to ensure that I am completely satisfied, a sometimes back-and-forth, time consuming process.
